Hard To Believe
October 31st, 2008Something tells me you’re not gonna buy this, but I swear it’s the truth. I was truly considering purchasing a purse-sized netbook before I saw the style of this beauty. Isn’t it totally me?

The great thing about this is that it means that there are officially two choices in the market for pink computers. The Dell Studio and Inspiron laptops, and this thing.
Oh, and the barbie PC, but that’s not too terribly portable. A real powerhouse with a 266MHz Pentium II though.
Nice machine though, I have considered getting the black-with-white-trim version.

@Cory W. - Oh, no no no. That’s where you are very wrong. Lenovo, Sony, Fujitsu, Sylvania, MSI Wind, and Asus all have pink offerings. But this happens to have the strongest reviews and best hardware. Even better than the barbie laptop;)

As a not so thrilled Aspire 4520 owner, I’d be careful about small/cheap Acer offerings. Do your homework (I know you will!).

@Laurel - Ah, of course. Every other netbook vendor. Even the MSI wind is in pink? And, of course, I actually can’t believe I forgot pink sony laptops, I make fun of them on a very regular basis. (Purely for the fact that they’re Sony though.)
One thing about the Acer AspireOnes I’ve heard but can’t verify is that they are not actually manufactured by Acer, only marketed and supported by them. If you don’t need to call Acer’s tech support line, it should be just fine. Maybe.
