For our monthly special kids’ event we took the neighborhood kids bowling today. It was the first time most of them had been, and we had a blast. They were so enthusiastic and excited! I got my butt kicked by the other two adults, but as competitive as I am, I’m not that upset. One of them was on a high school bowling team, and the other bowls at least twice a week. At least, none of the kids beat me. I might have cried, and I wish I was joking about that.
