Perfecting Imperfection: One Day At A Time
  • About Me

Music is my life. Everything can be expressed, handled or just felt more deeply with the right chord or phrase. I have been blessed with some amazing friends and am still at that point where my life is an open book. If you’d like, stick around for a bit and help me write a few chapters…

Oh, The Memories

March 5th, 2008

Every once in a while I get the chance to head north and spend some quality work time with the team I worked for my senior year of college. My days as a student worker were much different than a student supervisor primarily because now part of my job is trying to prohibit the kids from doing the same things I used to do (and by things I mean… non-productive, yet hilarious activities that frustrated, infuriated, and amused my bosses). For the first time in a long time, I noticed one of the doors of a former team lead still bore the evidence of one of such activity. Another student worker and I spent one afternoon adding important days and events to his newly purchased calendar (while the door’s owner was in a meeting). He was so entertained by our efforts that he left it up, and with each new owner the calendar has remained untouched… for four years.
