Honky-Tonk Heaven
March 3rd, 2008Bored of our regular eating spots in town, Lauren and I decided to kidnap Kyle and Cory and take them to T-Bows on Saturday night. To say T-Bows is obscure and out of the way would be a gross understatement since it’s at least a twenty minute drive east of town. The first time most people take the drive (including me) you nervously wonder exactly where the driver is headed. Even if you have 99.9% trust in your dining chauffeur, that 0.1% of doubt might leave wondering if you might be buried a live somewhere in the foothills of the San Fransisco Peaks as the sun sets.

T-Bows is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Northern Arizona for three simple reasons: 1) the drive 2) the atmosphere 3) the food. Once the fear of being betrayed and killed by a loved one dissipates, Leupp Road offers some of the most magnificent Flagstaff sunsets I have ever seen. We pulled up on Saturday as the sun was setting, and the skies to the east and northeast were nothing less than spectacular.

Music is my life. Everything can be expressed, handled or just felt more deeply with the right chord or phrase. I have been blessed with some amazing friends and am still at that point where my life is an open book. If you’d like, stick around for a bit and help me write a few chapters…
