Perfecting Imperfection: One Day At A Time
  • About Me

Music is my life. Everything can be expressed, handled or just felt more deeply with the right chord or phrase. I have been blessed with some amazing friends and am still at that point where my life is an open book. If you’d like, stick around for a bit and help me write a few chapters…

The Fresh Prince, Chicken Tacos, and Peanut Butter Fudge

December 16th, 2007

Sunday might easily be my favorite day of the week, and today was no exception.  Jeff came over to hang with me before we both depart for our hometowns, and we had a great day together.  Our afternoon began with cookie bakin’ and fudge makin’ before seeing Will Smith’s new movie, I Am Legend.  What a freakin’ awesome movie!  The best way to describe it would be 1/4 – Children of Men, 1/4 – 28 Days Later, 1/4 – Castaway, and 1/4 – Die Hard With Avengence. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it.  Just be prepared to be prepared for the suspense and a few tears that might fall.  After the movie, we grabbed dinner at Chili’s and did a bit of his last minute Christmas shopping.  The best part… we were both home by 9:30 pm.  Yeah, productivity mixed with a good time with a great friend is a good thing.
