I could easily be labeled with suffering from Music A.D.D. and O.C.D. I either can’t find anything I want to hear or I can’t quit listening to the same cd or song. This is my new favorite. Matt Nathanson…even if he’s more of an old favorite. His newest cd, Some Mad Hope, is mesmerizing. To the point you forget its in until its the 6th straight time you’ve heard it. This song just won’t leave my head today. What a wonderful feeling…

Matt Nathanson – Bulletproof Weeks

Today was a relatively good day. Had Vista training. Took a few eyes open, brain done functioning naps. Had lunch at the new Peruvian restaurant with Heather. Got to go home early. Locked my keys in my car. Oh yeah, you heard me right. I locked my keys in my car today as I went into the house. When I finally realized what I had done, I also remembered that Zac had a spare that we had snapped in half the week before and the other spare was locked inside the car. grrrrrr.
Zac was home and automatically volunteered to help me. Equipped with sticks, butcher knives, and screwdrivers he attempted to break into my car. I can’t describe how amazing of a process this way. I’m the CaresTeam in our apartment complex and so I know many of the residents. It was hilarious to watch them drive by as Zac shoved multiple object between the car and door in an effort to get the antenna in the space to hit the unlock button. Oh yeah, you heard me right, the antenna. Zac worked diligently for almost an hour before I convinced him to let me just call someone.
45 mins later I had my keys out and there was no accidental puncture wounds caused by knives and screwdrivers. I swear somedays are just better than others. I’ve included some pics of the ‘incident’ that Zac doesn’t know I took with my camera phone. Shhhhhh, don’t tell him.

I wish I was as cool as Matt and could sleep in training, too.
