RIP Choo-Choo
April 10th, 2007There’s really no one who might be reading who knows who Charlie is. Truth be told, I don’t even know who Charlie is or just recently was. You see Charlie was my grandmother’s second husband. Charlie was the grandfather I never had after my dad’s dad died mere months before my birth. Charlie wasn’t ever my grandfather; he was too different for that. I have many found memories of Charlie. I remember when he let me lock him in the outside shed in the Douglas heat and the times he let me do his hair with a fine-tooth comb and tons of mousse.
